Genre Documentary

Synopsis From the Obama years to the end of Joe Biden’s term in office, via Trump, here’s the journey of Anta, Evy, Talia and Lila, four young American women from different backgrounds, all scholarship holders at the famous university of excellence for women, Barnard College in New York.
They want to change the world, to make it a fairer place, through militant feminism and environmentalism.

From 2015 to 2024, director Nora Philippe follows them in their political, social and religious commitments, as well as in their lives as women. How is their feminist consciousness transformed, sustained and applied? How does becoming a woman today balance ideals with the realities of life? In 2024, at the end of Biden’s mandate, they will elect their country’s president for the third time in their lives. It will also be their thirtieth birthday.
