Synopsis Betrayed by his partner, Jean Vanloo, a flamboyant Belgian variety producer, starts from scratch, without a cent. With the help of his family and a new partner, he produces “Born to be alive”, an innovative disco track. Rejected by all the record companies, Vanloo persists and makes his creation a worldwide hit, collecting 54 gold discs. At the top, he signed his next artist, a certain Madonna, but unprepared for such a success, his fall will be as spectacular as his rise…
