Binti released in Belgian Theatres as of April the 3rd

“Binti”, Frederike Migom’s family feature film produced by Bulletproof Cupid and Kwassa Films, with Joke Devynck, Baloji and Bebel Tshiani Baloji, will be released on big screens in Belgium as of April the 3rd!

Binti (12) was born in Congo but has lived with her father Jovial (40) in Belgium since she was a baby. Despite not having any legal documents, Binti wants to live a normal life, and dreams of becoming a famous vlogger like her idol Tatyana.

Elias (11) lives alone with his mother Christine, since the divorced with his father.

When a police raid at Binti and Jovial’s home, forces them to leave, Binti runs into Elias. When their parents meet shortly after, Binti quickly sees the perfect solution to all her problems. Binti joins Elias’ okapi club, and while they organise a big fundraiser together, she secretly starts her plan to make Christine fall in love with Jovial. Binti, just like anyone, claims the right to dream.

“Binti” is the first feature film directed by Frederike Migom, who has already made the Pregnant Guy’s clip “Outfit van me Daddy” and the short documentary “Valies full of dreams” for Canvas program 4×7.
